About Hemocue Products

Hemocue’s Unique Cuvettes

Their are two inventors of the HemoCue system.  Sven-Erik Nilsson and Jan Lilja began to work on the cuvette concept in 1974.  Hemocue systems are based on patented cuvette technology, unique reagent chemistry, and analyte-specific instruments.  Hemocue systems do not require mixing of reagents, dispensing, or pipetting and the instruments are factory-calibrated.  The cuvettes are produced so that no adjustment for batch-to-batch variation is necessary.  With very little product training and maintenance, it is possible for staff without laboratory training to perform tests yielding accurate results.  HemoCue products can be purchased at http://www.mpsmedicalsupply.com/Hemocue
